Who We Are

Empugrium Pugs are a small kennel in Derbyshire. Owned by Drew Mcfarlane, Empugrium have owned and exhibited pugs for almost 5 years. During this time we have owned and bred successful show winning dogs, winning awards including Challenge Certificates, Reserve Challenge Certificates, Junior Warrants, Best Puppy In Show (Open) alongside several regular high placings at championship level across the country.

What We Do

We are fully committed to the breed. We regualary attend Championship and Open shows across the country alongside health testing our puppies and stud dog to the breed specific health tests. This ensure we produce the healthiest puppies possible.

Where We Live

Based in the Amber Valley, between rolling hills and cows a plenty. Empugrium’s pugs enjoy a country life; often returning caked nose-to-tail in thick mud! We find it vitally important that all our dogs enjoy daily off lead walks alongside plays in our garden which overlooks the most beautiful country setting…They are fed the best diets and housed in the most comfortable of beds!

Show Pugs

We are proud to have two successful pugs in the ring at the moment. These are our homebred girl Delilah – Empugrium’s Queen of Hearts, and our wonder boy Rupert – Rhodenash Kotten Kane at Empugrium JW. Both a joy to own and show, they enjoy their days out to the shows where they get a chance to strut their stuff!

The Future…

Empugrium are hopeful for the coming show year 2018. We have been lucky enough to have some beautiful puppies from our 2017 litters who we/their owners are currently training and hoping to make an appearance in the ring early 2018.
